I want to add that I do not support the use of the words “queer” and “heshe” as a slur.  I am a queer person and proud of being a queer person, and using queer as an insult is unacceptable, and it is wrong.  I apologize if the language I’ve used in this page makes anyone uncomfortable (it makes me uncomfortable)- Kyle & Atticus is a story about gender, and it is a positive story about gender, but that being said: it is important for it to start the way that it is.  Thank you for letting me tell my story.
